Beam Electric provides the training and guidance necessary to eliminate unsafe practices and conditions at the job site. We require all of our field employees to comply with Beam’s. safety rules, regulations and hazardous communication guidelines.

Early return to work program

Beam Electric recognizes the need to provide temporarily modified or light duty work to employees who are unable to perform regular duties due to work related illness or injury as soon as the treating physician deems it medically feasible. Beam Electric may assign limited or light duty work to the injured employee. Due to the limited amount of modified work positions available, light duty assignments will be assigned by Beam Electric on a “first come first serve” basis to those employees whose work related medical restrictions allow eligibility for the job positions available. This program will be for no longer than thirty (30) days per incident. Employees understand that if they refuse an assignment that is within their work restriction, their workers compensation benefits will be terminated as of that day. Exceptions to this light duty policy include return to work under the Family and Medical Leave Act.

Employees who have been subject to work related injury or illness will be returned to work as soon as the Beam Electric approved physician approves their return in a capacity for which there is available work. We will make every attempt to secure useful and productive work for the employee within their specified work restriction.
